And i can create elements i use very often. Now i prefer to work with templates it saves time and gives me everthing i need with a click of a mouse. I remember i set my most favorate things into one board and worked with the other two boards and copied my most used frames always from board one to one of the others … It offers a real huge possibilities to work. Yes in the free plan there are limitations.īut as i discovered miro i worked serveral days with the free version. Would you please share more innovative features with me? But I am currently a student and I don’t think I should pay for it because of not many collaborative works currently. I think it is very helpful! However, may I ask if you upgraded your plan? Because when I am exploring Miro, I found there are new features they are introducing, like sticky note captures and video conferencing. I added a picture how this works in miro: Present the results of each group in the main group.Copy the result frame from each group and paste it into the main group.Set the timer for the groups in the main board. In each of the 5 miro groups ther should be a “result frame”.Each of the 5 miro boards should be mentioned on a different “task frame” in the main miro board - the links for the miro boards should be either on the task frame or could give them in the chat window of miro.Invitation via mail to the miro (main) board.5 prepared miro boards for the group with each special task for them.1 miro (main) board prepared for the whole class.Share screen + video conferencing using Miro.Organise the whole-class collaborative work using Miro.Zoom: back to the Zoom and present group work to the whole classroom (using share screen in Zoom)Ģ5 students in a classroom and work on 1 discussion together (e.g.Miro: Each breakout room works on a Miro canvas.Zoom: Set breakout rooms for each group discussion.Zoom: Teacher lecture for the whole class.Let me explain so:Ģ5 students in a classroom 5 groups group work share group work with the whole classroom. So why I should tell them to share the screen if they already have this option in Miro? I’m not sure that I got the idea of using the «share screen function” in ZoomĪs I understand when some people are invited to see and work in Miro they already can see the process of correcting the board in real time, can’t they? Id like to ask you an additional question if you don’t mind.

Before leaving I had called our insurance man who told me I didn't need additional insurance, so I told him no. Then he asked me if I wanted the additional insurance. While on our trip, I saw most stations had gas for $3.79-3.89 a gallon. So I agreed again to get him off my back. Then he told me gas in Vegas is $4.50 a gallon, their fee is only $3.50 a gallon so basically I was stupid not to get it. Then he told me to get the prepaid gas option. So I was forced to pay to "upgrade" to a 4 door car when that was what I paid. How is a 4 door and a 2 door in the same category? My reservation was for a 4 door 5 passenger car. My son is 6'6, he would not fit into that, so I was forced to upgrade. The gentleman told me we were getting a smart car. My confirmation email says Hyundai Accent or similar. When I got to the counter, the man helping me was ruthless, a jerk and literally forced me into upgrades. I WAS RIPPED OFF!!! it was almost an hour wait to get our rental car. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. That was more than our flights!!!! RIPPED OFF!!!! THAT IS RIDICULOUS! In the end I was charged $297 OVER my original agreed upon booking (which was already $550), for a total of $850 for a 5 day rental. It was an awful experience, I felt used and completely ripped off. I honestly felt threatened into buying the additional insurance that I didn't need. The man ONCE AGAIN started belittling me, telling me I was crazy not to get it and that if I got into an accident, even if it wasn't my fault, and the care was not drivable, I would be charged $300 a day while the car was in the shop and would be out thousands of dollars. We didn't mention the 1500 unaccepted charge on our credit card but when we did at the survey the car company sent us by e mail few days later, they never replied nor said a word about it. When we got back to BUDGET RENT A CAR LAS VEGAS to return the car the lady was surprisingly kind and did the paper work in 30 seconds without any problem. Four or five days on the rental we received a message from our bank telling us about a 1500 US dollars charge from a mexican airline company which we had not done and we had to spend one afternoon calling to our bank in Mexico (citibank) to refuse that charge which it took like two weeks to solve. When she asked us for our credit card she took it and typed down the credit card number and the safety numbers in the back in her computer which we were surprised to see. So we read to her the paragraph where it said it covered the LDW. The lady at the counter, who spoke our language (spanish) questioned about our credit card LDW coverage and ask us for proof about that which we had printed out beforehand but when handled it she said it was not written it in there. We had made a reservation on the internet well in advance and had got a very good bargain for a week-car rental and we only wanted to purchase the liability insurance because our credit card explicitily covered de LDW. The History Channel film crew did not set out to find a piece of Challenger. But I am rather confident that it is one of the largest pieces ever found of Challenger," Mike Cianelli, program manager of NASA's Apollo, Challenger and Columbia Lessons Learned Program, said in a video statement released by NASA. However, we did note that the item does extend deeper into the sand, so the true size is hard to determine at this point. "In reviewing the footage that the team provided, we can see a section roughly 15 by 15 feet. The History Channel's find is the first major discovery of wreckage from the STS-51L disaster in more than 25 years. In 2015, for the first and only time to date, NASA placed a large section of space shuttle Challenger's fuselage on public display as part of "Forever Remembered," a permanent memorial to the nation's fallen shuttle crews at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Related: 35 years later, the lessons learned from the fatal Challenger shuttle disaster echo at NASAĪ section of the fuselage recovered from NASA's space shuttle Challenger displayed in "Forever Remembered." (Image credit: ) The silos were not considered burial sites or a memorial for Challenger, but rather a storage site, and in the years since, as additional pieces have washed up on shore, they have been added to the archive. The debris represented 47% of the orbiter Challenger, 33% of the external tank, 50% of the two solid rocket boosters and between 40% and 95% of the mission's three primary payloads (an inertial upper stage, a tracking and data relay satellite and an astronomical tool to observe Halley's Comet).Īfter being analyzed to learn what caused the failure, the wreckage was placed into two silos - Complex 31 and 32 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (now Space Force Station) - each 78 feet deep by 12 feet in diameter (24 by 4 m), which had previously supported Minuteman missiles up until 1970. The operation involved thousands of people, 16 surface vessels, a nuclear-powered research submarine and several robotic and crewed submersibles systematically inspecting more than 486 square nautical miles (1,666 square kilometers) of ocean floor in depths ranging from 10 to over 1,200 feet (3 to 365 meters).Īfter seven months, 167 pieces of the shuttle, weighing a total of 118 tons, were recovered. Since employees are told to sit down and answer phones, many paths are used up with the logic that no one will be walking through them any time soon. They, of course, deal with a lot of clients, and therefore, paperwork can begin to stack up quickly. Call centers are notorious for this type of hazard. FallsĪmong workplace injuries, falls are both the most common and severe. They include a lack of cushion for long-term use and are made from very rough materials that can cause irritation on a person’s scalp over time. Improperly fitting headsets have also come to the forefront of many call center issues.Įmployees are constantly being issued cheaply made and uncomfortably fitted headsets. This often leads employees to leave work not only incredibly tired but with a headache to go along with it. When your job depends on listening closely to the customer, it can become a habit to turn on your headset to full volume in order to accomplish this. This can, as you might imagine, create an incredible amount of noise. in addition to their size, often, the employees are closely packed together on one floor. NoiseĪlthough call centers come in all shapes and sizes, most of them are fairly large. The following list entails some of the safety concerns seen at most call centers. This, no doubt, creates some very serious issues. This essentially means that the means of production are more important than the actual person. The issue with the modern call center is that, unlike other jobs that fit the work to the employee, call centers attempt to fit the employee to the job. So when that much work is being done, it tends to create a certain number of safety risks for everyone involved. In other words, you can get a triple word score only by smartly placing the word on the board. When a tile is laid on one of these squares, its value or the whole word's value will be multiplied double or triple. You will also find score multipliers scattered around the Scrabble board. These blank tiles have no point values.ġ0 Points: Q & Z, the most difficult letter tiles Take note that there are 2 blank tiles included in the bag that can be used as a representative of any letter. A common letter like A, E or I has a lower value while the highest-point letters Q and Z have 10 points. This depends on how rare the letter is and how difficult it can be to use and lay it on the board.
